New lights, mounted each side of the upper deck are much more visible than on the side of the boat greatly improved the boat's visibilty, especially in high seas.

The navigation lights on my boat were the small “sharks’ eye” type and mounted low down in the bow only three feet from the waterline, and only fitted with tiny 10-watt festoon bulbs. I replaced them with new nav’ lights with Fresnel lenses and LCD bulbs and mounted them higher on the coachroof.
