The headliners on any old boat will probably show signs of wear and I gradually replaced mine with tongued and grooved PVC panels throughout the whole boat, and it transformed the appearance of every cabin and the panels are mildew-proof and washable. It is not a difficult project requiring few tools, but it is time-consuming as each panel has to be measured and cut individually.
