There are surely few things more upsetting to an owner who takes pride in his boat than arriving for a nice weekend sailing to find the decks covered in bird droppings! This happened to us on a regular basis when we kept Britannia in Westland Marina, Titusville, Florida. This marina is next to a public park with lots of trees full of hoards of blackbirds, starlings, crows and pigeons that roost and feed on the berries then fly over and do their dirty work all over the boats.
